General Aviation Pilots Looking Forward to New AOPA Membership Benefits in 2019

Frederick, MD – Anxious to keep the dues paying membership base alive, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) is rolling out a plethora of new membership benefits in 2019.

Abe Schwartz, senior membership director with the AOPA said, “Staying in lockstep with the needs of the general aviation pilot community is the key to managing their decline. Now that annual dues can be direct debited from member’s social security accounts we can use the steady cash flow to add innovative new services.”

What can members expect in the coming year? “The response to our 2018 post card membership survey was overwhelming; most web-based services are already being shuttered and all members will receive a stack of U.S. Postal Service pre-addressed envelopes for submitting claim forms to Medicare with their new membership cards.

Also new is a Platinum level membership upgrade that includes AOPA branded fax service from supermarket kiosks and we have partnered with the Viet Nam Veterans of America to offer discount movie passes.”, Schwartz said.
