LOS ANGELES, CA – Delivering on the Pentagon’s promise of military jet team flyovers the Navy’s Blue Angels and Air Force Thunderbirds kicked off a nationwide tour over the skies of New York City and Newark starting at noon ET, before heading to Trenton, N.J., and Philadelphia.
Health care workers and other employees on the front lines of the coronavirus fight in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania will be greeted with a “Thank You” flyover early Tuesday afternoon.
The military’s elite flight demonstration squadrons are flying in what is being called “a collaborative salute” to honor those battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
This tweet from the Thunderbirds shows the route of flight for todays flyovers.
