Los Angeles, CA – Aviation Daily News is investigating reports that the popular flying application for iPhones and tablets, acquired recently by Boeing, secretly activates the device’s camera and spies on pilots.
As hacked photos begin to appear online users of the app have expressed concern in Internet forums such as The Aviator’s Lounge on Facebook that secretly snapped photos of their poor flying skills and other more embarrassing photos will show up on the Internet.
Aviation Daily News has reached out to the FAA for comment and were told, “there is nothing to see here, move on…”
