TomTom.
For those under 40 who are too young to remember TomTom, it was basically Foreflight for cars. It went away as smartphone GPS took over, and after sending one too many confused drivers into lakes and off cliffs. We honestly didn’t even know they were still around until Airbus made their announcement this morning.
Aviation Daily reached out to Airbus to inquire as to what the hell they were thinking here, but unfortunately our calls kept getting rerouted due to a lost signal.
