CORRECTION: Cessna in Previous Article was Actually 787 Cessna, Still No Flight Plan

On February 20th, 2019, Aviation Daily News reported that a Cessna flew 801 mph in a really angry jet stream on its non-stop flight at 35,000 ft from LA to London. Shortly after going to press, we received word that the Cessna was actually a 787-9 Cessna model. We apologize for the inaccuracy. We assume the Cessna 787 still did not have a flight plan, however. They never do.

  1. I call BS on this one. As every reporter knows, flying without a flight plan results in a crash.

  2. I regret to inform you of an inaccuracy in your article…it was not a Cessna 787-9 it was an RV787-9 kit built. Additionally, I’ve heard thru reliable sources on Barn Storming Aviation sales, Inc. the Airline industry is using their own maintenance team to build these new aircraft.
